Join Our Team as a Resident Aide at Orchard Manor AFC!

​

Orchard Manor AFC, a welcoming adult foster care family home in Posen, is seeking a compassionate and diligent Personal Care Assistant/Housekeeper. This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfillment in assisting elderly residents with their daily needs and enjoys a variety of tasks in a supportive, home-like environment.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist residents with daily activities, ensuring a safe and caring atmosphere

• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning common areas and residents’ rooms

• Prepare meals and assist with food service as needed

 

Position Details:

• Hours: 20–30 hours per week.

• Shifts: Most shifts are short and are a mix of mornings and evenings. Here are the possible schedules for our shifts: 7:30 a.m - 1:00 p.m for mornings and 4–9 p.m. or 5–9 p.m for evenings.

• Availability: Must be available for evening shifts, including some on the weekends

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• We’re looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, and able to transition smoothly between tasks. While no medical certification is required, experience in elderly care is preferred.
